Homemade PCV baffles (Got pics or advice?)
I am running vintage aluminum cal custom valve covers on my 454. There is no baffles to protect the pcv valve. I decided to use one of the baffled grommets from moroso, but have read that they do not work too well.

Anyone have any pic or advice on how to make my own? The covers are finned, so I really can drill a hole completely thru to mount something. I have heard some guys epoxy a baffle in there, that makes e nervous, doesn't seem very durable. I don't know what shape the baffle should be either.Last edited by Gusaroo; 07-14-2008 at 02:11 PM.

cv products make some baffles that could work for you . i have the M/T valve cover on my 548 bbc with two moon beathers on each cover that work the best. and i have used every thing over the years . you can tig weld baffles in the valve covers that would work if not chromed you want to keep away from foam fill beather in time they get oil filled and blow oil all over.....Irish Diplomacy ..the ability to tell someone to go to Hell ,,So that they will look forward to to the trip
