Sounds right to me. Ever since I was old enough to read Hot Rod magazines, guys have been bolting superchargers with mild boost onto otherwise stock motors. 5 lbs will boost hp/torque by 25-40% over naturally-aspirated, depending on heads used.PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.

Tech your right on that but what I forgot to mentioned is that they say you can run from anywheres of 9 to 9:5 compression which to me would say Kaboom to your engine unless 5 lbs. is not enough to worry about.I never had a supercharger but everyone I've talked to says to run them with low compression of 7:5 or 8. Now this blower is small at 122. Now with a programable MSD ignition, they say it's virtually impossible to detonate this blower. is it because of its size and the small pulley you would have to use to get 5 lbs. of boost?Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

According to Blower Drive Service, you can run 4 lbs at 9.5:1 on pump gas and 6 lbs at 9.0:1 on pump gas. With spark control and maybe water injection, I'm sure you could go more boost than that even, depending on crank, rods and pistons.

Visited a family member at Dockery Ford from the time I was 1 year old through their ownership and then ownership change to Morristown Ford. Dockery was a major player in the Hi Performance...
