You'd also need the correct width rocker stands. Medium riser and tunneport heads used a wider stand. If that aftermarket rocker setup is not for the MR heads that could be part of the problem. Something in the geometry is not correct. That's why your intake was carved up a bit around the pushrods. Correct cup and ball size to match rocker/lifter needs to be looked at too.
