My word where do i gets these silly ideas
hey everyone been a long while since i started a thread so here it goes need a little input on a few miner details.....
Ok 1967 chevy pick up c20 turned into a tow truck with 283 needs complete over haul and maybe bit more..apptly named mater don"t ask not my idea.. LOL
So i am pulling engine replacing with 88 thru 92 350 just to get it to move under its own power problem #1 is throttle body injection #2 distributer and a few more u can imagine wiring is what i foresee being big issues never tried swapping anything this new into something so ahhh vintage as it were.. i am looking at senser's my thoughts were a simple one
1. i can change distributer to 85 or 86 maybe earlier say 79-80
2. heater core inlet is at the back of the manifold of the 350...my thought was to plumb the water pump with provisions from a 80 and run the lower heater core hose to the water pump while leaving the top core hose to the manifold seems straight forward i hope..
Other than all this stuff i have mentioned am i seeing a bit of wiring issues i cant see from my little box!!!!
(keep in mind putting said beast on propane is and option
thanks guys anything will help me get more aqauinted with it i am a mid 70'S to 80's guy its all real simple like that wait like me i simple to hahahaWHEN I GO AND THE DEVIL WANTS HIS DUE!!!! I'M GONNA JUST SAY THIS
I'LL RACE YOU FOR IT !!!HEHE
