Manual brakes??
I have a 87 Cutlass, 383 Stroker, Eagle rotationg assemble, Aluminum heads, Aluminum roller rockers, 557 cam. 6AL ignition, SFI 350 turbo trans. And want to convert to manual brakes. Any ideas? i have a S10 cab out back and can got the master cylinder, brackets, rod, off it. I heard this will work, but would like a little more insight on it . brake rod is too long on the manual brake setup on the s10 ( any kits you can buy??) Thanks in advance...

First of all why manual brakes. Isn't that going backwards? Not enough vacuum?? Get a vacuum resevoir canister. With that much engine your going to want as much braking as you can get!Livin' on Route 66

Not enough vacuum. Basically going for drag and very little street. Are you talking about a electric vacuum pump?
