I picked up an olds 350 motor from a neighbor who threw it out to the trash. I asked what was the matter with it and all he could tell me was that it was no good. I began tearing it down and discovered that it was a 350 w/#8 heads. If it turns out that all I need is to dress up internals and the heads is this a good find?

Zach It depends on the rest of the motor. When you said I began tearing it down, how far did you go. It seems if someone threw away a 350 motor something besides dressing up internals is wrong with it. If indeed you did find a good 350 by all means use it. Good luck!
