My 460
Well,it`s me again. Last time we were trying to figure out how to get my rebuilt 77 460 enough power to at least spin the rear wheels.30 over biggest cam for stock convertor, airgap performer intake,Holly 670 cfm. etc.
Well I talked with the tech guys from Holly they told me to start by getting rid of the 1 inch spacer, especially if it was open not the four holes,so I took it out, went to start the engine, put some fire out the carb a couple of times.
I was working outside and it was around 33 degrees outside, had to play with choke but in less than a couple of minutes the headers were cherry red.Yes I know the timming must be off but I don`t remember headers cherry red so quick. What do you think? techinspector1 and some of you others.
Thanks
