Here is one of the links I was thinking of and had to find the file for it.4 barrel TBI's that will support up to 800hp.Stock???.Nope.But I can tell you all the number of carbs that compare to these and are priced very close to these. The TBI's are a very simple. No leaky float bowls or floats to deal with or needle and seats or jetting or chokes.Program the ECU(yes that might take some fiddling with) and go.When you are talking 800hp and I admit that is the extreme, you can't be talking about a cam that is tailored on the small side.Just a chip burn??.There are programs out there for that.We have had 383 V8 Astro's that use a TBI successfully. The stock or semi stock limited mods get close to the 400hp level.Truth be known is it is hard to take something like the stock units that by design where for fuel economy and emissions and turn them into performance units.LOL But that never stopped us before.Right??.
