    weiand running hot

hi, ive just put a weiand 144 on my essex 3 litre v6 scimitar with a 390 holley, it runs fine for the first 20 mins or so , but after that it sounds as if its sucking when you try to rev it up but the revs dont seem to climb, the blower case does get pretty hot, is this normal? the motor temp stays just under halfway,
the car is on stands in the garage at the moment so is only run from there, is it the blower getting hot due to the car being stationary and then the fuel perhaps evapourating? mike.

What has the Weiand tech line said? That would be my first stop.

I'd call this number and start there.

Local 270-781-9741 between 8 am and 6 pm CST Monday - Friday, and between 9 am and 3pm CST on Saturday

I think you will get better info direct from the horse's mouth than just opinions on a forum. JMO.

What is the cfm rating on the carb!? From what you have explained, It sounds like you have too small a carb or there is an air restriction somewhere. By adding the blower you have expanded the volumetric effiency and the carb may be too small.
I totally agree with Itoldyouso, Weiand engineers would know.
