Good read, Gary. Thanks. I'm starting my engine build for the Safari. This is the first time I'll use hypereutectic pistons. I need all of the info I can get.

I bought KB Icons.Seems like a good deal for the money.I checked the listings in Competition Products for your engine and didn't see it there.Doesn't mean they don't make them.Might want to check into it.

I bought the pistons and rods at Summit in Atlanta. KB 153 is the part number. Eagle 6" rods. Sealed Power moly rings. File fit. Cherie and I came by there on our last trip. Picked up some new shoes (T/A Radials) for the Safari also. Let the fun begin.
