American made fan clutch for chevy???
Anyone have a idea of a AMERICAN made clutch? I researched a little before buying one and came up with NAPA as my source to buy. I went to NAPA and bought the fan clutch stating, I DONT WANT IT IF ITS NOT MADE IN AMERICA!!! The guy says I will check and comes back yes it is look here it says on the box its made in the USA. I ask , but wheres the stamp on the part that says made in the USA? I buy it anyways I can always take it back. Get home and look in the net and see a few articles saying that Napa is selling boxes that are made in the USA , the part in the box is not from the USA.
I checked HAYDEN since they are in my neck of the woods and look for there dist. and Napa pops up. Checking the Hayden site , I am not sure they are selling American parts either but actually some type of middle man for china goods.
Can anyone give me a brand name of a clutch made 100% in the usa? I want a part with a stamp that says "MADE IN THE USA" !!!Last edited by BigTruckDriver; 06-24-2011 at 11:31 AM.
