nope on # .but they are like thumb prints as there not allways the same. tap them on TQ caps bolts up. now feel how they are at parting lines cap to block there should be no hook or over lap keep moving them till they all feel good . alot of times you can match line hone machine marks or line bore marks on the line bore finsh when you get this close check with dial bore gauge to housing bore size. then stamp with number stamp set or punch them so they can not get mixupLast edited by pat mccarthy; 04-27-2012 at 09:56 PM.

so I assume this is a 2 bolt block??? Of course, you have probable already identified the rear cap---
If you take a magnifying glass you may be able to pict up marks for 1,2,3,4 on the caps but if they are there they will probably be very lightly stamped---other than that its the switeroo method, try, tighten, feel with finger, measure with dial bore guage--
Of course you can take it to a shop for alighn hone and let them figure it out
Great to see your new post, Mike, and great to see CHR up and running again after several days of the Hmmm, can't reach this page.... Also good that you found an easy solution to your storage/access...
