    Post 1986 block

Lunati Voodoo Cam .468"/.489" 219/227 degrees Hydraulic Flat Tappet
    Edelbrock 750 cfm carb
    Edelbrock E-Street Aluminum Heads 2.02/1.60 70cc combustion
    HEI Dizzy
    Stock Pistons
    Compression - approx. 10.0:1 to 10.5:1
    Summit 1.5:1 Full Roller Rockers

Stock numbers were 260HP and 304TQ and compression was 8.5:1 with 76cc Mexico heads

With upgrade - maybe 360HP and 350TQ at 5,000 RPMs???

Welcome to CHR!! I haven't seen TechInspector post much from his digital dyno program lately, but this seems like an excellent candidate for that process if you can sweet talk him into running it for you! How about it Tech? Enough info here for the program?

Too much carb for a mild 350, a 650 would perform better, and probably do better on fuel mileage, too..... Might also want to consider a hydraulic roller for the cam, Edelbrock has a number of selections that will work great with their heads....maybe even consider the whole Edelbrock "Power Package", all the components are engineered to work very well together. As for the Summit rocker arms, they're just import junk. Might want to look for a better set then that.....

Yeah Roger, the computer with the dyno software on it is in Phoenix, stored at my ex's house. I'm currently living in Palm Springs, California and online with a new little Samsung Chromebook with no programs on it.

I'd use those heads only if I were up against a wall with my budget.
You cannot intelligently choose a cam until you know the static compression ratio. 10.0 to 10.5 is lame and is not the static compression ratio. Measure all your components and figure the exact static compression ratio so that you can intelligently choose the intake valve closing point on the camshaft to make max power without detonation on pump gas.
Stock pistons. Pour the dish with a burette and colored alcohol. Drug store rubbing alcohol works fine, just add a few drops of food coloring.
You should probably pick up a couple of books by David Vizard, like these....

Bummer! But not having the big 'puter with the program explains it!

As I read the original, he's asking for a power estimate of his engine as it stands today, not really looking to change anything out, just wondering about how much performance he added with the voodoo cam, Edelbrock heads & carb, etc. I don't have any kind of program to plug & play performance issues.
