    hot rod 429

I am trying to hot rod a 429 cobra jet and need to use a dry sump. I want to stay period correct (69-71) and need to know where to get a dry sump set-up form that era

The only group that I can think of that would've used a big block and dry sump is NASCAR.. Due to the equipment used, I don't think there is anything "period correct" about a dry sump with external pump. Not sure what kind of a look you're chasing.

I am hotrodding a 429CJ and want to use only tecnology and systems that were available in the 69-71 era. I don't necessarily need a part made in the era, but a copy of what would have been used in that era.

And that's why I said, there really isn't much that's changed aka "period correct".. Go to summit racing dot com and look up the parts. External belt driven pump(s) look the same as far as I know - still being driven by Gilmer Style belts.
