Anyone purchase one of these and have major calabration problems? I had purchased this engine, March 2002, for my 55 Chevy Nomad. I put down a deposit, but delivery was delayed by months. GM informed me that was due to a calabration problem with this engine. I finally did get the engine (i picked it up from GM on July 30th,) i did put it in my car, and now after 2 years (and a lengthly story of frustration, lost time, and thousands spent) this problem engine is still sick. Also during this time I had been told by a GM employee that there were problems with this engine and that the good ones didn't come off the line before August of 2002. Obviously i got a defective 502.
