Chevy / GMC engine compairison
Quick question,
What was/is the difference between a 1970 Chevy 350 CI and a 1970 GMC 350 CI?
What parts will swap.
I have a 1970 GMC step-side/fender-side and the engine looks no different than a normal SBC.
They are both GM, but so is Cadilac, Pontiac, Buick & Olds, but their engines are a complete different animal.
TIA,Bug

Although GMC has used some strange motors in their trucks, including some Pontiac V8's, I'm thinkin' that the '70 GMC 350 is just another Chevy 350.PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.

I agree with Tech, in '70 they used a common engine across the lines for the 350's, samo, samo inside & out.Roger
