current build
I'm looking for a little input on this small block setup. I think it should do nicely in my 82 corvette.
406 ci
10:1 compression
all forged rotating assembly / stock stroke
AFR 210 heads, springs are set to cam requirements with 1.7 rockers
cam 262/262 with .610 lift, 112 degrees lobe separation, 9 degrees advance, .232 @ .050
Victor Jr with porting
Holley 750
MSD efi ignition
700 R4 trans
3.54 rear end

Sounds like itl surely get up and move that car, all forged did you build the motor? If Ring gaps are right, splayed caps? If so she can handle the bottle if naturally aspirated isn't enough for you but I'm doubting that wI'll be the case unless it's a strip only car

In my experience, if you have to move the cam timing advanced or retarded more than 4 degrees, you have chosen the wrong cam in the first place.
