RPM Calculator Spread Sheet
Here is an Excel spread sheet that I built to help determine your engine RPM in various gears at various speeds.
You will need to know your tire height (I know there are different ways to determine this but I used the overall height method. I also understand that this may not be as accurate as some other methods but it will get you close). You will also need your axle gear ratio and your type of transmission.
Please note that this link is a direct download. Once you click the link below the excel file "RPM Calculator" will automatically download to your computer. It will probably be placed (but may vary between computers) in your the Downloaded Files Directory.
Hope you enjoy. Feel free to distribute or use as you see fit. If you want to change something message me and I will give you the password to unlock the file.

It is easy to make a small fortune in Hot Rods. Just start with a large one.......
My grandfather, mom's side, drove a 39 Plymouth coupe when I was about 4 or 5 and I thought it was pretty cool and I loved the tail fins on the 49 Cadillac. I drew cars when I was in the 5th and 6th...
How did you get hooked on cars?
