    dipstick diverter??????

     



    Anybody ever heard of a dipstick diverter in the oil pan on a small block 400???

    Yes it is the tube that fits thru the dipstick hole. It keeps the dipstick from hitting the crankshaft.

    i hate that when the dipstick hits the crank i broke a dipstick that way. its also about 2 to 3 inchs long. so ive seen

    I should have checked your other post I didn't know you already threw a tantrum and quit. I can't believe you didn't check your oil before asking about the tapping noise. I hope the guy who built your engine knows you've been running it without oil so he doesn't have to take any of your crap. With your attitude I'm guessing he already told you to F#%* off and that's why you showed up here.

    Thanks Al, I hadn't noticed his other thread. Maybe CHR needs a "dipstick diverter".

    A good way to divert unwanted dipsticks that come along and bother ya is with a very large gun..!!....
    The cylinders have to be inline.!!!

    I'm back..... Did you miss me? I sent Bill a PM and ask him not to remove me.... After going to the can to think about it I realized this is actually fun..... I guess you all are right, inline I apoligize for what I said..... Street if you read this I owe you one too.... I will quit posting and start reading..... Well back to the can and check on my Johnson Rod.......

    Right on there Cutnitclose.!!.....Ya got Mono lube in the can to take care of your Johnson rod.??...No ..it don't come in a can...the can in your house..!!.....JHC....this is getting....er ...ah.....like ..........Hell I forgot again...
