engine advise....
i as wondering if i could get a good dirrection to go in on my build...
here's my cam specs.
http://dab7.cranecams.com/SpecCard/D....asp?PN=110551
my motor was just rebuil about a month and a half ago..i'm running a edelbrock 600 dual plane airgap intake, headers and 305 heads on my 350 with a close ratio 4 gear with 372 gears..it works really well but i want to make it work better..i didnt want to use 305 heads but i had a rebuild set laying around when i found out my 350 set had a crack in them....when my motor was being rebuilt i found out they had truck pistons in it... so they looked like ash trays and didnt do much for compression and i was told i need about 10:1 to make that cam work right....so i was thinking about putting pistons in it in the winter but wasn't sure what style to run to give me the right compression(the deck height isn't at zero its stock).. i have a line on a set of dart 230cc angle plug heads which i know would work alot better and there 64cc combustion chamber... so if i could get any dirrection it would be awsome....and how good of cam is that and how should it work...this motor is in my 56 pontiac(it is a chev motor)..i drive it mainly street and like to take it to the track time to time and burn a little rubber...lol

ah..thats good to know...i just found out i have a line on a set of bowtie heads for $1000 64cc 180cc intake 2.02 & 1.64 valves they've done completely and are only about 1yr old... they might be a better idea i dont want my power at 6000... it is a heavy car and i like how my cam performs now i just know those 305 heads are really holding me back....as well as the pistons
