318hp/454ciBB vs 367hp/357ciSB
torque. it's all about torque.
500lbft@1500rpm of torque Big Block vs 400lbft@3500rpm of torque Small block
what would be better for a 4000 plus pound pickup truck?had a rebuilt 355SB chevy
it lasted 42,000km
Got another rebuilt 355SB
it lasted 62km.
I still have not had a powerful engine.

Most of the time haulin ass.
the 3.73 gears are keepers till they break.
with the extra torque down low of the big block. maybe I would just spin my way trough the gears or break something.
wanting most improvement for least money in the long run.had a rebuilt 355SB chevy
it lasted 42,000km
Got another rebuilt 355SB
it lasted 62km.

actually haulin both fire wod and ass plus a bit of towing wagons.
well I could put in a set of 2.76 rear gears.
wow with them gears a 454 would still have more grunt in 1st gear.
plus turn only 1775rpm @ 90km/h (56mph)had a rebuilt 355SB chevy
it lasted 42,000km
Got another rebuilt 355SB
it lasted 62km.

We managed to get a couple of other small things taken care of. One was blacking out the front of the core support. When the sun hit the front of the car just right that green paint on the core...
