have a 350 that was told to me "rebuilt" has blow by--oil thru the tube into the bottom of the carb cleaner standing oil ,blowing out the pvc tube. it has 600 holly, rv cam, 305 heads 53cc
edelbrock intake headers 400 turbo

make sure the pcv valve is working or put a new one in to be sure, or you can do a wet- dry compression check. that should tell you what shape your rings are in.
