Just a suggestion, but this approach is likely to get you in a big-time bind unless you're going to mount the same engine, trans and rear-end in the same locations as they are now. How can you build up your chassis without having at least a dummy engine, trans and rear-end? A car is a system, not a bunch of parts. It would be a shame to have a nice shiny frame sitting there - then have to cut and paste in order to get the rest of the stuff installed.
