    another plug question

I'm currently using the short Acccel U groove plugs, due to the fact that I have clearence problems. do any of you know of a shortened plug that I can use. I'm not too awful fond of accel products.

depending on your vehicle... autolite makes them too... and if you're running a ford motor, dont use bosch... or at least not platinums... SBF motors tend to not like platinum plugs for some reason... they tend to run better with just good ol autolites

the Accel plug number is #576S. If I use a longer plug my wires are snug against my headers, I don't really like that. No one around here has been able to help me out. Any info is appreciated.

I used the same Accel plugs as my wires were touching the headers(real quick way to toast the wires) and even with the shorter plugs I only have a 1/4" clearence. I use heat shielding around my wires and at shows I just take it off. Works great.
Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

I bought some of the porcelin cased plug boots and I couldn't get a couple of the plug wires on, as for extenders, some of my header tubes cross over top of the plugs. The Accel plugs work, I just don't like the perforemance of them. they don't seem to last long. Denzo apparently makes a short plug, I'll have to do some more research.
