Wink Every Little Bit Helps, Installing Spark Plugs the Right way!

Here is a great artical on the proper Installation of your Spark Plugs. I know that a lot of guys are gonna say, now come on who doesn't know how to install spark plugs. Well please go to this site and read what it's gotta say. I'll be the first to say I did'nt know the right way, there is more to it then sticking a Spark plug in the hole and snuging it down.

As the article says, it is only 1 or 2 percent more, but it's 1 or 2 percent that didn't cost you anything more than the indexing fixture, some indexing washers, and a little time. I've seen a lot of people spend a ton of money and get less gain...........

Interesting. I will have to try this. I just bought new plugs about 2 weeks ago and haven't really ran them much (about 3 hours on them). Thanks for the info.

I purchased the $99 plug reading kit w/video. I'll let you know what I think of it.

It's a good investment. Lots of cheap horsepower to be found just getting the tune up right. When we were racing, I always made sure the plug light and the low pressure hi dollar tire gauge were in the tool box.
