webber/ edelbrock carb tuning
Hey All,
brand new to this forum so please bare with me. I have heard that this is the best place to be for the most knowledgable bunch of guys around. So here it goes. having very limited experience with carbs, im having trouble tuning. 1st problem bought a piece of **** holly fuel regulater sapposidly set from the factory, and Gauge. the guage pegged at about 19 psi so i dont kno what i really have for pressure. tryed to regulate it with no luck. the car did run well for short periods of time, and now it refuses to idial, sounds like it running out of fuel. alittle background about the carb. bought off ebay 750cfm on a modded 327ci sbc. can any one give us a place to start with tuning this. also anyone around that would like to lend a hand, on the mighty sbc fiero.Last edited by v8fiero; 04-27-2005 at 07:00 PM.

hey thanx guys for the link. first i think im going to try to fix the pressure to get a base line to go on. im gettin a new guage and hopfully the 2nd regulater that i have is good. oh and just to let ya know if you have a holley fuel pressure gauge dont wipe off the lens with alittle gas on a rag as it eats the plastic! am i the only one that sees a problem with that?

never heard of gas doing that, paint thinner will, but I think you still have a piece of plastic clear cover on the gauge. check that closer.Mike
