wheres the get up?
does any one have any help for me? i have an 87 firebird, right now it does have the original 2.8L V6 but when i go wide open from a stop it barley goes. now if i ese it to wide open it picks up supprisingly for an old 2.8 any suggestions?

Get a bigger motor or a lighter car. A 2.8 has to work quite hard to get a car the size and weight of a maro moving.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

ya i do have plans to put a 350 in. it will take me about untill the end of the summer to complete though i am just looking for some cheap ways to improve what i think is throttle response, the car will pick up after about 3 or 4 secconds of wide open from a stop.
