Getting her tuned in/good hot rod shops
I live in Orlando, FL. I drive a 1970 nova with an 1983 chevy 305 from a caprice. It's all stock, converted BACK to points style ignition, and a non-ecm controlled 4bbl quadrajet. I'm looking to get the carb/vaccum advance tuned properly. But no shops in my area that i know of will mess with quadrajets.
My questions are
Do any of you know any good shops (or people in my area) that would be willing to tune this car. I want it rejetted, the advance set properly throught the RPM range, etc. Ya know, the basics. I've heard you can gain some decent power from having it setup right. I know i need a smaller carb. Ive got a 700+cfm on a stock 305, stock heads/porting, etc. But hopefully a swap meet will yeild a trade because i'm near broke!
Thanks!
