Stumble At Launch
Help. I am running a 426 HEIM in a 70 CHallenger and have a problem with serious stumble comming out of the hole after the car has been warmed up for about 30 mins. Runs great at highway speeds and durring the first 30 - 35 minutes. I have replaced my MSD6AL ignition and re-located it in front of the rad support to keep it cool, replaced the coil, checked for fuel delivery and I still have the problem. The only thing that I have not replaced is the distributor. Does anyone out there have experience with "fuel percolation" or any other ideas would be helpful. I am running a Stage V 2X4 intake and 2 X 650 Thunder Series Carbs. HELP ME !!

mechanical or vaccum secondaries? you could be dumping too much fuel at low RPMs/speed.... at a launch you could still be high enough rpms but be drowning the motor because the air is hotter at a stand still... so its thinner, and the carbs cant such in as much.... just a thoughtjust because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day

Could be vapour lock. An electric fuel pump back at the tank will fix it, and any other fuel supply problems.

Yep. And I seem to move 1 thing and it displaces something else with 1/2 of that landing on the workbench and then I forgot where I was going with this other thing and I'll see something else that...
