engine problem question.
I have a new 350 350 horse the problem i am having is that i started the car the other day for the first time as i started to break in the cam after about 3 minutes the headers on cylinders 4 6 8 started to glow red.I thought that there might be an intake leak so i sprayed some carb cleaner around the manifold to see if the idle would change and it did not. So then i was thinking that i might be running to lean so i put a different carb on and it did the same thing at this point i am not sure what it might be so if somebody might have any suggestions please send them my way.Iknow this is just a brief description but if you have a question please contact me thanks Jeff.

Furthermore, if your timing is retarded, it will run rather hot. Make sure the timing is set correctly.Objects in my rear view mirror are a good thing unless,.... they have red and blue lights flashing.
Thank you Roger. .
