5.0 305 Help Needed
hEY GUYS IM NEW BUT I NEED HELP I REMOVED A 4.3 LITER V6 FROM MY S10 AND PUT A 5.0 305 IN IT AND WENT FROM FI V6 TO CARB V8 AND NOW WHEN I START THE TRUCK IT RUNS IN PARK AND NEUTRAL BUT WHEN I PUT IT IN GEAR IT SEEMS TO DIE OUT ITS GETTING GAS AND THE TIMMING IS RIGHT BUT I CANT FIGURE OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM IS... THE ENGINE CAME OUT OF AN 85 Z28IT HAS A 289 CAM AND A FEW OTHE SLIGHT MODS DONE TO THE BOTTOM END PLEASE HELP I LOVE THIS TRUCK AND I WOULD HATE TO HAVE INVESTED ALL THIS TIME AND WORK JUST IN VAIN.

Nedd more info. When you say it dies out does it stall or backfire? When it's in park can you give it gas without it stalling?Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

It stalls out... when it park it runs fine, neutral also its just when its put into gear...
