Help
I got an 89 Gmc sierra Pickup with a tbi 350 in it i just replaced all the sensors and i can figure out why at idle it sounds like it wants to die and it gets even worse when u put it in gear. When your runnin it though it runs good just when it has a load or sitting at idle it runs like crap. and also what kind of AC DELCO plugs should i run in itLast edited by superchevy247; 02-26-2006 at 02:38 PM.

after putting in the new sensors did your reset your computer? and also you mide need to adjust the idle screw a little... could also be a timing issue...just because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day

have you checked for vacuum leaks? had a buddy who's truck was doing the same thing, the basket under the throttle body was trashed.

the most common problem on those tbi's is the gasket between the tbi and intake manifold they are thin paper and they fail all the time. there is no idle screw its controlled by the computer with the idle air control valve (I.A.C.V.) on the tbi unit...tedI'LL KEEP MY PROPERTY, MY MONEY, MY FREEDOM, AND MY GUNS, AND YOU CAN KEEP THE CHANGE------ THE PROBLEM WITH LIBERALISM IS SOONER OR LATER YOU RUN OUT OF OTHER PEOPLES MONEY margaret thacher 1984
