    Cant start-up car

OK here is the problem. I started up the car for 3 minutes and was going to fix the idle cause it idles too low. When i wsa about to do that the car just shutoff completly and all the power to the car is gone. No headlights no power at all. I am really frustrated cause i want to work on the car but getting it to start isnt happening. Can anyone help me or had the same issue. Its a 63 Chevy Nova.

Check you battery cables. One might have come loose.

I don't remember if that car has fusible links or not, but if so you fried one if everything else is tight. Other possibilites are shorted starter, solenoid, and alternator.
