solid lifters
ok so I just got 85 s10 blazer it has one of those there solid cams. i started to adjust that there lash just cause to make sure everthing is in par before i put on the road. my question is even after they are adjusted will it still sound like one dem sewing machine. imo they are not that far out of adjustment anyway and it sounds like one dem sewing machine. its rather annoying but is it normal.

yup, solid cams make a lotta noise... you'll totally get used to it after a while.... i used to run a gear drive in one of my 69 galaxies and after a while i didn't hear it anymore, but people were always telling me they think my water pump is going outjust because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day
Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
