    Question Can it be done?

Can you put metering rods and jets from a 600 edelbrock into a 750 edelbrock? The reason why I'm asking is I have 2 750 edelbrocks, one new and one rebuilt that I picked up really cheap but I know that they are too much for both mild 350's I have.
If I knew anything I'd be dangerous.

The will probably fit, I think the only difference is the venturi diameter. The rods and jets from the 600 with be VERY lean in the 750 due to the weaker vacuum signal to the discharge nozzles. Primary rods are $11 at my local parts store. I don't know the cost of the secondaries. The jets are probably $3-$8 per set. I tried ordering metering rods for my Qjet and got them for a Carter, that is why I know the price. The Edelbrock 600 is a Carter carb, the 750 could be a Carter or a Quadrajet. I'm assuming you mean your 750 is a Carter.

I figured they were I've rebuilt my 600 and I rebuilt my 750 but at different times and we don't have a local speedshop so I could only really tell the differences from pictures on the web and in magazines.
