ultimate quench or ultimate compression?
Im about to buy heads for my motor and was woundering whether I should build it for ultimate quench which I believe to be about .040, correct me if im wrong. Or should I build it for compression? If I went with the quench My comp ratio would be about 9.5:1-9.7:1. If I built it for comp. I would have about 10.1:1 and a quench of about .050-.058. This is a 350 for the street that will be riddin hard. So what would you guys do?when in dout, throttle out

If you can get to .040 quench and be at 9.5 or more c/r, go for it. That is good for the quench, and you will never feel the difference between 9.5 and 10/1. Plus, the slightly lower c/r can only help with the gas situation. JohnWhen your dreams turn to dust, Vacuum!
