is it a roller engine? if so it will not have any lobe on the cam to work the fuel pump. all v8 chevy take the same fuel pump push rodIrish Diplomacy ..the ability to tell someone to go to Hell ,,So that they will look forward to to the trip

depending on the block casting number all 880 casting blocks never had the lobe on the cam to run the eccentric for the pump.
If its a 638 casting block roller cam as these came in both roller and flat tappet it may have it but may not .
Most of the ones ive seen do.
Thank you Roger. .
