    Idle mix screws on Edelbrock

     



    What is the rule of thumb adjustment for the idle mix screws on an Edelbrock600 CFM with electric choke?
    If I knew anything I'd be dangerous.

    Start at about 1 1/2 turns out, then adjust with a vacuum gauge for peak vacuum, then in about 1/4 turn works for me.

    as dave stated above, this is the proper way to adjust carb. also if you don't have a vac gauge then use a tach and follow the above only open up (turn out) the screws for best i
    dle and re set the base idle
