I would make sure that you run a static compression ratio of 8.5 to 1 and a boost pressure of 6 lbs max. That will more than ample for the street in a light car.

The main thing with blower motors is heat ? So you will have to have a good well planned out cooling system. As you allready know by now a 32 engine bay is pretty tight. Especially in regards to the lenght of the engine bay and your blower drive. I have one or two ideas to get around this. Are you running power steering ?

Do you have the cam card that came with the cam? If not, call the grinder and ask for another. Degree the cam in according to the cam card. If you don't know how to degree it, ask again and we'll provide some links for easy reading.

Set the mixture good and fat to begin with, then gradually lean it down as you drive the car and read the plugs. If you let the motor go lean, it'll dismantle itself pretty quickly.

Here are recommendations from BDS. They recommend 110* lobe centers for use with gasoline and 112* to 114* with ethanol or methanol.

i have a 383 sbc with a 6/71. Ive had it running for a year now and I dont enjoy it! I just had it tuned and change to progression linkage and I still dont like it! just my opinion though. I wish i never would of done it at all.. dyno'd at 540hp. I wish i had a cruiser engine instead.

Box up the blower and email me for a mailing address. I'll take it off your hands and I'll even step up and pay the postage
