Carb problem...
Have a 84 T/A with a 305. Has an edelbrock intake and an edelbbrock 750 carb. There is no fuel getting into the intake. No smell of fuel, car will putter with a little starting fluid. Gas pumps out of the fuel line hooked to the carb just fine when it cranks. Took off carb, took apart, put back together. Blew compressed air thru carb just fine. Still no gas going thru. Any ideas??? Just need to get it runnning so I can sell it.

Yeah, unhooked the fuel line and shot some fuel into a bucket when cranked. When I ran compressed air thru the carb, the floats moved, so the air was making it into thhe bowl I believe.

I'd say the fuel filter in the carb is either plugged or severely restricted.Ken Thomas

I tried rubber isolators between the frame and pump, but it made little difference. I don't mind spinning the motor over to refill the carb(s), it allows time to build oil pressure, jmho..
