If it were me i'd be checking if the carb float is stuck.
Sounds like too rich a mixture to me.
I know,,,, I'll shut up an go back to my corner now.Got lots of chrome,
It's good for show,
But when I hit the gas,
The pig won't go!

What coil are you using. If your ignition is all MSD and it's working right your carb is almost for sure not right or having issues.
What carb do you run?
