Best, Most "Streetable" Dual Quad Tunnel Ram Setup?
I'm running a full hydraulic roller 496" BBC in my chopped and slammed '40 Chevy Tudor Sedan. I have a 700R4 overdrive, 2800rpm stall converter with a 9" Ford rear end and a 3:70 posi. What would be the most streetable, trouble free, dual quad tunnel ram setup? Thank you.

i have never ran a tunnel ram on a chevy but have on several fords and an olds. i use offenhauser intakes 99 percent of the time.they offy you can buy a single 4-barrel set up for them and they are an 360 degree design which i like but what ever you do run it straight from the box they work great that way.

I have read that the Weiand tunnel ram is a little more street friendly than an Edelbrock. I ran a Weiand with dual 390 cfm Holleys on a 327 when I built my first street rod, mainly for eye candy purposes. It ran fine on the street but lacked snappy throttle response. When I built another engine for it, I sold the tunnel ram and carbs and built a 350 with a B&M 144 supercharger. Now that engine had throttle response big time.
