I was wondering if anyone has used one of these carbs on a 454 or bigger street engine? I'm curious what jet/rod setup worked best. I have an out of the box carb that ran pretty lean 15:1 a/f at wot. (I have no plans of junking the carb for a holley) I spoke with the Edelbrock tech guy, and he suggested a simple rod change. It would seem to me that to obtain a 12.5:1 ratio at wot, I would need to go a couple jet sizes bigger.
