Timing issues ?
I'm out of town working and a friend of mine who owns a drag shop and drag races is finishing up my ride and after installing the dist. and setting it on 38 degree total timing the timing retards about 15 degrees when the RPM goes up it;s up and down and won't stay locked out. 6al-2 is new, new coil new everything and the one new thing I'm worried about is the new KMJ msd look alike dist that a friend of mine told me too give it a try, are these dist any good and could that be my problem?

Well they found out the problem it was the ground wire that comes from the msd, ran a new wire all the way too the battery and that cured the problem.
