Carb Spacer
I have a 425 HP 383 stroker motor w a 4150 750 CFM carb with Vacuum secondaries on a Edelbrock Air Gap manifold. I will also run 200 dual shot of NOS. I am ordering a hood with a 3 inch (camaro style) scoop. With the new hood clearance, I would like to put a carb spacer for a little more power.
My question is should I go 1, 1 1/2 or 2 inch spacer? Also what's better: open plenum or 4 holes? ThanksLast edited by Juiced66malibu; 03-14-2004 at 08:57 PM.

You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
