    351 clev questions

Ok, so i am rebuilding a 351C for my roadster pickup, want it pretty quick on a budget.....
so far the rods have been stress relieved and lightened(within 1 gram of each other), pistons all balanced too...
    crank polished+ balanced.
offy inlet with 1.5" phenolic spacer + predator carb
crane mild street/strip cam n new lifters
    MSd ign...
    hooker headers

ok so the heads are now ready to go in for work...i was jus thinkin ports polished n CC'd
i spoke to the guy at the local cyl head shop, and he was talking, 3 angle seats n other stuff....
is this worth doing??? or is it gonna be wasted on a street car???
also, what sort of BHP n Torq is this thing gonna have???(i am using the original ford auto trans...)

the current valves are sweet, and i'm a lil dubious as to whether they should be messed with if the work sweet.

    thanks in advance.
    Jay

Definitely worth doing a multi angle valve job with that much other work allready done.

thanks guys...ok so i;m gonna go with the 3 angle ( he doesnt have equip to do 5 angle seats).....
i spoke to some guys from one of the local car crews and they were sayin that the heads dont really need CC'ing unless its a race engine or ya intend on running NOs...is this true?? i cant see that it will do any harm to get em cc'd, but what are the exact gains by doing this, other than having precise volume in each combustion chamber...

    thanks again...

That's about all it would accomplish. Unless the heads are way off on volume, doubt the results of cc'ing would show up anyplace othere than on a dyno.
