All Buick Open Show!!!
For all the folks that like Buicks (of all kinds), street fairs and live music... Saturday June 11th is the All Buick Open Show in "Old Town" Puyallup, WA. The show starts at 10am with awards at 5pm. It is part of the Meeker Days Festival which is an annual event that is kinda a founders day festival (Ezra Meeker). I'll be there with my '37 and should be joined by other Buick Streetrods from the BSRA. We are what the Buick Club of America (BCA) calls
"Slightly Modified". If you prefer Pontiacs, the All Pontiac show is Sunday at the same location.

Yep... I'll take some good pictures and get them posted!
Dave, I'm looking forward to seeing more pic's and info on the progress of your nailhead. I have a guy here in the BSRA that has been building up a trick nailhead for his "Custom" Merc pickup and I can't wait to see that one.
lowlands, my '37 was the only "Modified" '37 at last years show but there were several other '37's and '38's there. You can check out some of the others on our website www.buickrods.org.

Well, the Buick Show turned out to be a pretty good one and it only drizzled a couple times, other than that the sun was out! I had a great time and took some decent pictures that I'll get posted. My 'ol '37 even managed to get a 2nd place award for the Modified class! That was a surprise and made me feel good as there was some fine modified vehicles there!

Thanks Dave! The "Modified" class was a pretty tuff one this year as they made every car that was not stock go in the modified class! You should have seen some of the Riviera, Wildcat and GS guys when they were told that the wheels on their cars made them modifieds! I can hear the rules changing already!!! Yeah, you would have loved all those nailheads there in all shapes, sizes and colors! There was a nice turnout of the pre-50's cars which I really enjoyed.
Anyway, I'll get some more pic's posted as I get the time. I'm going to another 500+ car show on Saturday.

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
