Probably won't make the car show but if you want to see some real action stop by the Cub Scout booth and check out the Pinewood Derby Races!!! Packs 81 and 121 are using Frisco Fest as a membership drive oportunity and what better way to draw a crowd than a race. My son and I will be around during the morning to campaign our racers...

Rogers is located in northwest Arkansas. I believe Arkansas State U. is located there. I took a couple of lads there in 1969 for an Arkansas State Jaycee Jr. Golf meet. One of the boys was Bill Rogers who won 6 majors in the PGA in 1981 and is now head professional at the San Antonio Country Club.
I bet that was more information than anyone wanted.

kennyd is being a smart ass... (What else is new)
Probably won't catch kennyd or myself at too many local events, except cruise nights, Heck I don't think kennyd even has a car that is drivable these daysmaybe we can find him some parts at the swap meet tomorrow for his latest project!!!
I will look out for you at Frisco Fest...

Looked for you at Frisco Fest... Think I saw your car, is it a blue 4 door sedan?... Might catch you next time...
BTW, the VW won the Pine Wood race and remains undefeated!!! A couple of the other Dads put together some aerodynamic "wedge block" cars to take a shot at beating the flaming bug, but no dice...

You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
