My wife, teen-age daughter and I were there in 1989 at the NSRA the give away car was a yellow 37 Ford lift off top. We had a great time and the City really put out the welcome matt. I had a 41 Chevy coupe that was making noise from the front brakes. I went to a local repair shop and found out the nuts had come loose holding the caliper bracket the guy insisted that I owed him nothing. The restaurants were always happy to see the Street Rodders come in. At night the street was line with people sitting in lawn chairs, and even on the curb watching the cars go by, There was a hot rod Lincoln pink and gray, it really got the crowd going. I would like to go back someday but time just fly’s by so fast.

Yeah, it's always a very good time! I would like to go every year, but it seems I usually only end up with the time to go about once every three years or so.... Gonna go this year, though....Barring any major complications....

5 miles from me only 3 turns. I never miss the swap meet.

This is one show I never miss. You see the greatest array of cars here, from rat rods that I would be scared to drive across the street to million dollar plus cars and everything in between. I have been to this show every year for the past 12 or 13 years, every year just gets better. I have met and made great friends at this show and look forward to seeing them each year. I will be taking my blue full fendered 32 roadster 32 SKIDOO I hope to see some members there.

Thanks for posting the link! My wife has relatives in the area and this is a great excuse for a weekend trip.
