John, I'm afraid if you drive to Gainesville you'll miss the show, the Garlit's museum is further south in Ocala, it sits beside I-75 on the north bound side. The wife made a suggestion a while back about going to the Garlit's museum, the 16th sounds like a good time to do it, we'll be there unless something unexpected comes up.

Hotroddaddy, thanks for getting me up to speed, somehow I managed to miss the post on the planned trip. Sounds like it will be a fun, and a unforgetable outing. I can only wish you, and the others, the best of luck and good weather. I'm heading back to northern Ontario for another run, looks like an additional 6 or 7 runs after that, or until the snow flies. I've never been to Florida, so some pictures would be great. Sniper

hotroddaddy; Sounds like a lot of fun,I hope the gas situation dosen't put a damper on it.With the name Garlit's tied to it there should be a good showing.I think it would be neat to meet some of the folks that are on this forum.

Unless something comes up to put a damper on my plans, I should be there with my coupe.

What's everybody else driving? (So I know what to look for)

I have no clue as to who is coming, so i really dont know whats gonna show up. Im driving my honda, Don mentioned driving his truck if they make it, there is talk about the PoorBoys making the trip, so i guess i will just sit in the parking lot around noon with a sign or something.

Well, $@n@fa#^&%h!!! We (teachers) went back to work Monday. I found out today that I have to attend a seminar on Saturday morning! I won't get out until noon and then it'll be too late to head to Garlits (2 hour drive).

From the lack of activity on this thread, it looks like it was going to be a pretty sparse turnout; now it's down one more. I'm sorry, guys! I guess I'll just save the gas and look forward to the Daytona Dream Cruise...
